The Starling Clutch Stem is made in Taiwan and powder-coated in Bristol. It’s available in all of our current and legacy colours to match your frame. 

It even has a pair of beautiful, understated and stainless Starlings on the faceplate as a subtle nod to the brand. 

If you ever want a change of colour, we can repaint it. If your frame gets a refurb in future, we’ll do your stem for free at the same time. Choose ‘Legacy Colour’ to match with those long-forgotten colours you bagged back in the day.

• Material: Handmade, brazed and heat-treated steel.

• What’s included: Stem, bolts (M8x20mm), and paint of your choice (spacers and top cap supplied separately).

• How stiff is it? No idea. Not too stiff, not too flexy. It feels great.

• What can I use it for? The Clutch is rated for use up to Enduro MTB level.
