Delivery

Fast and hassle free. Just like our bikes

We’ve kept our postage like our bikes, fast and hassle-free.

European customers should receive their orders within one week of dispatch, delivered via Fedex. This allows us to get customs clearance before we ship. Taxes and duties still liable.

Customers outside of Europe should receive their orders within two weeks of dispatch but this will depend on local customs authorities.

All orders are insured against damage in transit.

All orders will be safely shipped in a tough cardboard bike box. If your frame arrives damaged you should photo all damage to products and packaging and contact us straight away.

A tracking number will be supplied by email when your frame leaves the Workshop. You can track your orders here on Parcel Force.

For all orders to the UK or Europe, postage is included in the cost of your frame.

For anywhere a bit further away we’ve added a modest cost on to see them safely to you.

Wheels add a bit of extra postage cost on – particularly outside of Europe so keep that in mind.

Brexit

Brexit has added a little bit more complication for sales to our EU customers, but not necessarily any more cost.

For sales to the EU, we remove the VAT from our sale price, for example a £1880 frame minus 20% UK VAT is £1567. The frame is then shipped to EU country where the local customs add their countries VAT. In most EU countries this is similar to UK’s 20%. Scandinavian countries VAT is a little higher. The customs may also add a few pennies for their efforts.

But, since the frames are predominantly made within the UK, no import duty is applicable. This is not the case for other companies who get their frames made in the Far East and incur 20% duty on full bikes. Admittedly for our Taiwanese manufactured stainless bikes are liable to this duty.

In most cases, the cost change is neutral, but here is an added complication. There will be slight delay whilst custom process the frame. And you will have more bills to pay, even if the total isn’t significantly changed.

For all warranty issues, the frame can be returned with no VAT or duty due.

So in summary, not necessarily any more cost, but a little bit more complication.
